What is your job description? I oversee the day to day operations and projects for the Gresham location of CAC.
How did you start at CAC? I suppose you could say it's in my blood...Cascade was started by my dad and grandpa in 1977. While it is exciting to be involved in the family business, it is more exciting to be part of a company and industry that takes an active role in improving the lives of our members and surrounding communities.
What is your favorite fitness quote? Fitness is not about being better than someone else...it's about being better than you used to be."
Hobbies: I enjoy camping, skiing, being with my wife and kids, and attempting to golf!

What is your job description? I was hired in 1987 to work in child care and kids programs.
Hobbies I love to spend my time away from the club with my wife Tami and my sons Brady and Chase.
Any other interesting facts? I have won 2 National championships in singles and 1 in Doubles and i am the President of the Oregon Racquetball Association.
- How long at CAC? I have been at Cascade since January 2012, so 3 and a half years. I am just a rookie compared to some of the "old timers".

What is your job description? To help tennis players of all ages have a great time on the tennis courts, become the best players they can, and get fit while doing it.
How did you start at CAC? I moved cross country from Pittsburgh PA to join the Cascade family as the Director of Tennis in 2012
What is your favorite fitness quote? I have 2--"love is nothing in tennis, but in life it's everything" AND "When I was 40, my doctor advised me that a man in his 40s shouldn't play tennis. I heeded his advice carefully and could hardly wait until I reached 50 to start again."

Fun Facts: Born and raised in Stockholm Sweden where all my family except my sister (Portsmouth, England) still live. Growing up, tennis legend Bjorn Borg's parents owned a convenience store one block from where we lived and we got to play tennis with him at the local park. Bjorn would help the kids in the neighborhood shoplift candy out of his parents store (of course I will deny everything if asked). I was once ranked #1,453 in the world. I always wanted to be a rodeo clown, but am allergic to make up.
- Since 2013, and a Charter Member everyday at Cascade is filled with purpose and passion for helping other people accomplish their health and fitness goals. I love working with our whole team that is on a mission as a healthy lifestyle club. The best part of my day is introducing new members to all the venues we have in exercise and fitness and assisting our members with their personal or family goals. It's also a privilege as the team leader for the Cascade health coaching and weight loss program to come alongside so many people and assist them in their life journey.

My job is to coordinate all 3 Training Teams and manage the Personal Training Departments. I also help integration and operation of all Weight Floors, Training Rooms, and Group Fitness Rooms.
Right out of college I started cleaning locker rooms and weight floors in 1992. My favorite quote is “To give less than your best means to sacrifice the gift…†by Steve Prefontaine. In my free time I enjoy spending family time with 4 girls, golf, running, and hiking.

Did I mention I live in a house with 5 girls? (wife and 4 girls) The dog is also a girl, so I am honing in my “Speak Softly†skills. My family is most important to me as we spend a significant amount of time together celebrating and vacationing.I was in the Navy ROTC program for 2 years at Oregon State. An experience I will never forget.
- I started working at CAC East Gresham as a Yoga instructor in 2013. In 2014 I became the Silver Power Director where I facilitate the SP program along with teaching numerous classes and also train people to teach classes. In my youth I went to Interlochen Arts Academy and NYU for Theater and Dance. I went on to become a Massage Therapist in my twenties which became a life long career. I started teaching Yoga, Dance and Group Fitness as a side gig in my 30's. In my 40's I furthered my fitness education by studying Physical Education for Adults at College of Marin. My favorite thing to do when not working is spending time in nature either out in my garden or on a hike in the wilderness.

- How long have you been at CAC? I started working at CAC in 2003 - worked for a few years in Group Fitness and as a trainer and then left for a couple years to focus on my family. I missed teaching our Group Fitness classes so much, that in 2011, I decided to come back and have been here ever since.
What is your job title? Group Fitness Director/Group Fitness Instructor/Tribe coach/Personal Trainer
What is your job description? Managing our Group Fitness Department for all three clubs, teaching Group Fitness classes for (4) different Mossa formats, coaching Tribe Life and training a handful of clients.
How did you start at CAC? In 2002, I got the bug for Group Fitness and starting taking classes here at CAC, I fell in love with our programs. After a few months of taking classes, my passion for Group Fitness grew and in 2003, I got certified in the first of (4) programs I would eventually teach. My passion for health and fitness continued to grow and that same year I got NASM certified and became a Personal Trainer.

TENNIS
With 5 indoor courts and 3 outdoor, tennis is alive and thriving at Cascade Gresham. From City League matches to USTA teams, we have a group for you. We offer private lessons, small group clinics and junior classes.
RACQUETBALL
Led by the 2014 National Junior Developmental Coach of the year, Brian Ancheta, our racquetball programs have depth and breadth. From beginners to league play and seniors to juniors, we have a program to fit all needs.
WATER PARK
The Water Park at Gresham, and opening soon at Fisher’s Landing, is the only private, Members and their Guests, facility of its kind in the metro area. We open both waterparks in late spring, get ready for summertime fun!
